What You Need to Know
We’re looking to add a Growth & Marketing Associate to the Account Services – Strategy team. The Growth and Marketing Associate will support the marketing and business development efforts of The HWP Group. This position plays a key role in executing marketing campaigns, conducting market research, generating leads and assisting in developing strategies to drive business growth and will focus on executing marketing initiatives, analyzing performance metrics, and identifying opportunities to expand The HWP Group’s reach and customer base.
What You’ll Do
The Growth & Marketing Associate will be accountable to the EVP Strategy and collaborate closely with those involved in sales and business development. In addition, this role will:
- Assist in the creation and execution of marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including managing marketing budgets and tracking expenses related to marketing initiatives and ensure they align with financial targets
- Track and analyze marketing performance and generating reports, including measuring the return on investment (ROI) for lead-generation activities, including CRM updates, email campaigns and convention participation and working with sales to evaluate the profitability and effectiveness of generated leads
- Assist in the execution of digital marketing campaigns, including social media, email marketing, content creation and paid ads and regularly track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of marketing campaigns
- Generate detailed reports on campaign performance and provide recommendations for improvements
- Create engaging content for blogs, newsletters, presentations and other promotional materials
- Conduct thorough research to identify industry trends, competitor activities, customer needs and emerging opportunities and prepare detailed reports summarizing findings and actionable insights
- Support lead generation efforts by managing outreach activities and ensuring CRM is updated regularly and help to identify and qualify leads for further engagement by the sales team.
- Assist in planning and organizing events, webinars and trade shows to promote The HWP Group’s service and offerings
- Provide general administrative support for marketing and business development projects as needed
What You’ll Have
- Degree in Marketing, Business Communications or a related field
- Familiarity with the pharmaceutical or medical education industry with 1-2 years of relevant experience is an asset
- Experience with CRM platforms, such as HubSpot, for lead tracking and reporting
- Proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint with ability to create reports and presentations
- Strong working knowledge of digital marketing tools, including HubSpot, Mailchimp and Canva
- Familiarity with social media platforms and paid digital advertising strategies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to create compelling marketing content and liaise with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to think creatively and organize tasks efficiently to maximize productivity
- Ability to work independently, take initiative and drive projects forward with minimal supervision
- Ability to work well within a team environment
- Strong analytical mindset with ability to interpret performance data and make data-driven decisions to improve marketing efforts

- Salary range: $60,000 –70,000 $ annually. Note: Actual salary will depend on background and experience.
